Had a great time last week presenting ” 5 Reasons Why You’ll Love Office for Mac 2011″ for O’Reilly Media.
The recently release office productivity tool for Mac has been greatly improved with new collaboration capabilities, multimedia enhancements, visual reporting tools and user interface. In the presentation, I showed compelling new features in Office for Mac 2011, namely:
• Enhanced navigation with the Ribbon Interface
• Enable team collaboration with SkyDrive and SharePoint 2010 integration
• Efficiently manage schedule and email with Outlook 2011
• Broadcast PowerPoint presentations via the web
• Visually display spreadsheet information with Sparklines in Excel 2011

Liked the presentation. Hoped to see it live, but at last minute had to duck out. Watched it offline. Glad to hear that a “Sharepoint” guy uses Mac. So do I. I’ve been using Mac on/off since the 1980’s, and “on” exclusively on my Macbook since about three years ago. The new office is much better. wish now they would make Safari work a little bit better.
