I’m very excited to see y’all next week in sunny Honolulu (though I will terribly miss the below freezing temperature here in Washington D.C.) to be a part of two awesome SharePoint events.
On February 19, Wednesday, AvePoint in conjunction with Microsoft and Innovative-e is hosting the executive breakfast event: “Winning Governance Strategies to Deliver Collaboration Success” for CIOs and executives. This exclusive event dedicated to decision makers will focus on:
- How do you establish the right level of governance without compromising workplace efficiency or hindering productivity?
- How do you implement and enforce complex governance policies that can still easily adapt to the changing needs of your organization?
- How do you integrate information security and privacy standards into governance policies to minimize compliance risks and violations?
I’ll be kicking off the event with a presentation on “How to Ensure that SharePoint Governance Can Drive Business Value”. Additionally, Microsoft’s Leona Locke will deliver the presentation “Executive Guide to Enterprise Social Governance” and Innovative-e’s Mike Taylor will present a case study on “How the State of Hawaii OIMT Rapidly Realized Project Management Success with Microsoft Project Server”.

Next, on February 21, Friday, I’d like to invite you to attend the annual SharePoint Saturday Honolulu (yes, on a Friday). SharePoint Saturday Honolulu will be an educational, informative and lively day filled with sessions from respected SharePoint professionals & MVPs, covering a wide variety of SharePoint-oriented topics. SharePoint Saturday is FREE, open to the public and is your local chance to immerse yourself in SharePoint!
Spend a day with leading professionals who can help you understand the future of work, how to stay competitive, and what tools your company needs to transform from the inside out.
I will be delivering the keynote presentation “Lead the Enterprise Social Revolution: How to Inspire, Transform and Drive Purposeful Collaboration” and the session “How to Best Develop Requirements for Your SharePoint Projects”.
