These relationships are also known as task dependencies. A task dependency is the logical relationship between project tasks. For example, if there was a task called ” Scramble Eggs”, the prior task or predecessor task would be “Buy Eggs”. These tasks would have a dependency known as Finish to Start (F-S). We would have to finish or complete the task of “Buying Eggs” before we can start the “Scramble Eggs” task.
