Wow! We’re 19 days into 2009 and it still feels like 2008 =) For my first blog post in 2009, I’d like to share how much I enjoyed the first SharePoint Saturday in VA Beach held last January 10.

Not only was it well attended (almost 200 people) on a Saturday, it was a very well organized, community-driven, FREE event! Kudos again to Michael Lotter and Susan Lennon for putting together this event.
The day was jam packed with awesome sessions led by SharePoint thought leaders who volunteered their precious time to impart their expertise. A round of applause to all the presenters!
In addition, thanks to all the sponsors who supported this event. We appreciate the food, giveaways and valuable information about your organization.

Here are the upcoming SharePoint Saturdays in February:
-
February 7 – Kansas City
-
February 21 – New York City
Also, stay tuned for SharePoint Saturdays in Boston, Atlanta, Washington DC.
Indeed, it’s such a great sight to see that in the true spirit of collaboration, SharePoint is empowering folks to build communities online and offline =)
See you @ SharePoint Saturday NYC.
I am interested in speaking at your upcoming events. Please loop me in when you’re accepting presentation submissions.
Thanks!
